More than 50,000 tests for coronavirus were done before and during SPIEF-2021. A set of anti-epidemiological measures was developed by the Roscongress Foundation together with Rospotrebnadzor (Russian consumer rights watchdog) and the World Health Organization. As a result, safety standards were set for major international events around the world during the coronavirus period.
These safety measures have already been called unprecedented by experts. The main condition of access to the Forum venue for all participants was a negative PCR test for COVID-19, by which the accreditation badge was activated. In all cases, a full range of anti-epidemiological measures were taken: thermal scopes and hand thermometers at all entrances to the venue, a close control of the masks use, to name just a few.
