Pod hotels have proven themselves quite well. There is not much space in them, but no one is encroaching on it. Now capsule trains are next in line.

Russian Railways presented new high-comfort railcars.
Their main features:
Individual pods that can be closed if necessary;
Each passenger is provided with an individual table, light, USB sockets, places for hand luggage, personal items, clothes (and there is even room for a bicycle);
Couchette will be 15 cm longer than the usual ones;
Like all new CJSC Transmashholding rolling stock of the last years, a pod railcar will offer vending machines and shower for passengers.
So now you can eat smoked chicken without bothering your neighbors.
