Egypt to Become a Guest Country at the Jubilee SPIEF in 2022

Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Russia Ihab Talaat Nasr in Moscow. The parties discussed Egypt’s participation in the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum next year as a Guest Country, plans for preparation for the Russia–Africa Summit, as well as resumption of air traffic and related epidemiological safety measures.

“Egypt is interested in the comprehensive development of relations with the Russian Federation. Participation in the jubilee SPIEF 2022 as a Guest Country is a great honour; this format opens up vast opportunities for organizing joint business events on the sidelines of the Forum, which directly contributes to the strengthening of trade and economic ties between our countries,” noted Ihab Talaat Nasr.
