Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin announces first Covid restrictions for the Russian capital since the summer

From October 25 to February 25, Muscovites over 60 years of age and vulnerable citizens will need to remain home unless vaccinated or recovered from Covid-19 within the last 6 months.

Employers are also required to transfer at least 30% of employees to remote work in the same time period.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova proposed to declare the period from Oct. 30 to Nov. 7, 2021 as non-working for the whole country to help contain the spread of coronavirus.
