5G Rollout POSTPONED: AT&T and Verizon stall launch amid aviation concerns (Report)

AT&T and Verizon planned to light up new 5G networks that use C-band frequencies on Dec. 5th. That rollout will now be delayed until at least Jan 5th, the firms said Thursday.
The two companies collectively spent nigh on $70BN earlier this year to gain licenses for C-band spectrum that was up for auction. Shares of Verizon fell 2.1% and AT&T declined 1.5% Thursday - while broader US stock indexes were mixed.
