The
anti-government march, that first took place in 2012, was set to rally against corruption, inequality, homelessness, as well as lockdown restrictions.

Protesters were wearing Guy Fawkes inspired by the graphic novel and film V for Vendetta. Signs demanding the release of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, wanted by the United States over alleged espionage, could be seen at the location as well as ‘Anarchy’ flags and signs against lockdown restrictions andCOVID-19 measures.

The march is an annual event on Bonfire Night, the anniversary of Guy Fawkes attempt to blow up the British Houses of Parliament.
