“I think people feel better when they have control,” Judge Bruce Schroeder said [regarding Rittenhouse picking jury numbers]. “I have had an almost universal policy of having the defendant do the picks,” the senior judge told the now-18-year-old Rittenhouse.
Judge Schroeder quipped on whether it's a good idea to have media involved in televising the trial from now on, after reports of threats and abuse from swathes of journos and outlets.
