Exxon Mobil extracting US workers from Russia
US oil giant Exxon Mobil has followed Shell, BP and Equinor in halting operations in Russia as it starts to withdraw American workers from the country.
Exxon employed over 1,000 people in Russia last year, including the large oil and gas operations in Sakhalin in the far east which is one of the largest single direct investments in Russia according to its website.
Exxon have been operating in Russia since 1995.
