The Western nations aim to turn the Arctic into a
'battlefield', while for Russia the Arctic remains an area and territory of cooperation. This was proven by the Economic Forum held in St. Petersburg, where the Arctic agenda and its international aspects were discussed exclusively in a
constructive manner - despite the emotional demarche of our northern neighbors who are trying to turn the Arctic Council into a semi-Arctic one.
