Blafink specialises in custom made upholstered furniture such as sofas, beds, benches and chairs. Customers can choose to custom make an item from the catalogue or work on builds they’ve found online such as Pinterest, Instagram or Google!

Blafink was started in 2015, working with factories based in Singapore and Malaysia to realise our furniture projects. They carry over 5,000 swatches of upholstery in fabric and faux leather. Upholstery is sourced from Malaysia, China, UK, Australia.

(Interesting note: For Isabelle’s project they used 14 different types of upholstery)

Their pricing is in the mid-high furniture tier range. As every project is built from scratch and they only buy the necessary material required for your project, it is not possible to take advantage of economies of scale i.e. they cannot be as affordable as mass-market products but you can put together custom made furniture using materials that you can both love and budget for.
