Dear Driver-partners,
Given the recent increase in oil prices and the resultant rise in petrol prices, certain sectors and industries have been negatively impacted, especially the transport industry. Ryde remains committed to supporting our driver-partners to ensure that their incomes are minimally impacted. Thus, we will be introducing two fare adjustments,
effective 14th April 2022 (Thursday).
1. Base fares to increase by $0.50 across all services, excluding RydeTAXI.
This will be a temporary measure until 31st May 2022 to better reflect the true cost of trips due to the rise in petrol prices.
2. Cancellation and Waiting Time Fee increased to $5.30 (inclusive of $0.30 platform fee and GST), up from the current $4.30.
After the deduction of the platform & service fee, drivers will receive $4.50 for either trip cancellation or waiting time.
