2020-01-08 17:52:49 Jolla Released Sailfish SDK 3.0

The installers for the new release were made available on the Sailfish SDK wiki page. Users of previous SDK releases should get an update notification in the Sailfish IDE.

Jolla has been working on making functions, which were available exclusively through the SDK control center, accessible in more native ways. With the new SDK installers developers can do even more manually and also programmatically with the help of 'sfdk', the CLI frontend.

Among other changes the SDK 3.0 enables development for Sailfish OS release 3.2.1.

Jolla also published a Blog Post about the upgraded command line tool, non-interactive SDK installation and more advantages of the new SDK release: https://blog.jolla.com/sailfish-sdk-3-0-is-now-available/
