If you were here, I would turn to you with shivering lips, I would reach for you and embrace you tightly, I would bury my face in your shirt, then I would cry and cry.
If you were here, you wouldn't know what to tell me, so you would hug me back, you would slowly stroke my hair, you would patiently rub my back.
If you were here, you would wait until I'm done, you would rearrange the messy locks of my hair that were drenched in tears, you would give me a calm smile flooding with your sympathy.
If you were here, you would brew my sorrows into a comforting drink wafting of reassuring compassion, you would lead me to bed and tuck me in my blanket, you would wish me a good rest even though you know it's difficult for the ever so restless me.
