Likewise, the anti-choicers in government and MSM have achieved the EXACT OPPOSITE of what they wanted: they have planted doubt about ALL vaccines in the minds of billions of ordinary people.

Personally, I never bothered to read any anti-vax literature in the past - I had no time for it and no particular interest. But due to the obsessive focus on vaccines over the past year, I have seen/ been sent vast amounts of literature that raises plausible concerns.

All this literature - that is entirely banned from MSM and social media platforms, has now gone underground, influencing the minds of billions of people.

I am certain that as a result, millions of mothers will avoid even the most essential vaccines for their children, potentially leading to the avoidable death of millions of children in the coming years.

2021-05-17 06:04:19 A trillion dollar debt mountain means nothing to Mr Scott Morrison. It is not his money. All this has been so unnecessary, since this pandemic has been in the range of the Hong Kong flu and could have been managed effectively with an age-based risk management approach and standard measures (prescribed in all of Australia's pandemic plans) to flatten the curve and minimise harm.

The untargeted lockdowns that forced young people at virtually no risk to sit at home for months on end, border closures that have decimated tourism and hospitality businesses, and endless damage to supply chains was entirely Morrison-made. He insists on eradicating covid even though it is impossible to do so - and despite that being in complete breach of Section 5 of the Biosecurity Act.

Australia's Representatives is the ONLY political party that can stop the bleeding of Australia, can bring back common sense and reason, and get back jobs and a better future for all Australians.

2021-05-17 00:36:00 Rajiv Gauba, my IAS batchmate, has been the senior most bureaucrat of India over the covid era. I sent him my TOI articles on covid since March 2020 and he did read them (as per Whatsapp) but he has refused to follow any sensible policy - and, instead, allowed Modi to take India even into a bigger hole than it was in, already.

The IAS has TOTALLY failed - as the world's most incompetent bureaucracy (btw, I now consider Australia's bureaucracy - that REFUSES to provide frank and fearless advice despite being paid very heavily - to be no less incompetent - I am ASHAMED of the heavily paid DTF Secretary, for instance. He does not respond to open letters, does not respond to a detailed email from me, does not advise the government honestly).

By breaking all the laws and international covenants and by giving in to hysteria, nations worldwide have brought themselves to a sorry pass. The data are now very clear: more people have been killed by lockdowns than any lives saved. Over 50 studies/ reports to confirm the crimes against humanity we have seen since March 2020.

Do read Jayant Bhandari's article. I disagree with many of Jayant's habitually contemptuous statements about the people of India (he has a habit of generalising to the people and their culture) - but he has masterfully described what is going on in India. This piece is a classic and will stand the test of time.
