I know this may sound rude, but students are part of institute,just like members. Today's students is only tomorrow's member.
Its genuinely very high time that senior officials of institute should come forward and address the students.
They themselves take over 8 months to release suggested answers but expect us to be prepared for any last minute chnages and label it as professionalism.
The problem here is not just the impractical pattern but also the toll on mental health due to non clarity of things. It's been 3 days, and even after trying very hard, speaking and sharing with wise people, it's hard for me to concentrate and prepare for exams.
I was even considering opt out option but with ca exams dates in Dec, I am fearful if exams of dec happen anytime sooner than late jan.
In every scenario, I am feeling defeated by institute and this is so because instite or whoever feels that last time pass percentage was high due to unfair means only.. it could also be , due to better preparations as almost every teacher took revision on you tube for free and time saving home based method.( travelling time and tiredness and peer pressures reduced as not met students )
Institute has to put faith in their students that the overall curriculum is strong enough to produce worthy professional as these written exam is not only the base to decide it . We cross three stages and different training and activities to reach here.
Just because of 5-10% unwanted elements, decisìon cant be made for remaining 90-95%.
I gave home based and I vouch proudly that cheating was not possible. Camera audio was on and warnings popped up.. even Proctor was avaible on call and helped me with technical issue and asked me to show my working papers..
I accepted the change with the hope of becoming global and reaching my dream of becoming CMA closer.
But today I expect institute to come forward with changes that relevant and at pace that do not become road block or challenge to already challenged path of student..
