The Sound of Freedom filled me with anger, disgust, compassion and tears. I am still processing this incredibly heart wrenching yet necessary film. The movie itself was done with excellence. But the message is what penetrated my conscience. You know this exists but using real footage of children being kidnapped and knowing this is a true story of a small portion of children being rescued it makes you HAVE to respond. To me that is what makes this movie one of the most powerful I have ever seen (right up there with Schindlers List - but that movie was documenting the past - this one is happening now! I could not do anything with my sadness from the Schindler movie but this one I can). I can not not do anything. I can at least give this highest rating and tell others to go see it. And at mostwell this is what I am still processing. A movie that can do THAT - move someone to actionis a must-see!
