On 15 April 1989 the most horrific tragedy in the history of English soccer occurred at Hillsborough Stadium in England. Due to misallocation of fans in the stadium sectors by the police, 96 people were crushed to death during the FA Cup semifinal match against Nottingham Forest, 766 people were injured. A total of about 53,000 tickets were sold for the match.

It was on Soviet television when the Secretaries General died, and in 1991 it accompanied the events of the August coup d'état, taking over all TV channels.

The authorities wanted to shield citizens from information in order to prevent mass unrest. But something had to be shown instead of news. Cheerful entertaining programs would have been inappropriate during the mourning period. But the ballet and its solemn music could not have been more appropriate.

In 2016, he was accused of stealing a propaganda poster at a North Korean hotel and then sentenced to 15 years in prison. A year later, the comatose tourist was returned to the U.S. with permanent brain damage. Otto died six days after his return to his homeland.

DPRK authorities later billed the United States for Warmbier's treatment - $2 million. In response, a court in Washington found the DPRK guilty of torture, hostage-taking and extrajudicial execution of an American and ordered Pyongyang to pay more than $500 million in compensation.
