I organized Zoom session "Option/Elective Modules available at level 6" on June 8th. Unfortunately, attendance was very low. 

Please see below some important information regarding Enrolment and Option/Elective modules available for level 6 BM students: 

1. Enrolment. You can do enrolment starting from June 7th (if you are progressing student) OR from August 1st (if you are subject to refer/defer semester). The deadline for Enrolment is August 14th, 2022

2. Module Registrations. You need to select modules which you will study at level 6. There are 2 core  + 1 core option (Dissertation OR New Venture Creation) + 3 option modules in each Pathway at level 6. ​For details, please refer to attached presentation.

2.1.Option Modules.  At level 6 (any Pathway) you should select ONE option module in semester 1 and TWO in semester 2 (or replace one option by elective module). You cannot select TWO option modules in semester 1 OR ONE option module in semester 2. There should be balance of modules in both semesters (four modules in each semester considering year-long modules). You can see list of option modules from BM Course Handbook (https://registrar.wiut.uz) and from the attached presentation. 

Please note: Not all option modules will necessarily be offered in any one year (the ones which will be offered will appear in your srs). Keep in mind, opportunity to request a module change is given only once per year - in September. And University reserves the right to approve or reject your request. Also, University reserves the right to assign you to option module/s if you did wrong selection of modules. 

2.2. Elective Modules. Each student is eligible to study ONE elective module per year (instead of option module). All relevant information on elective modules is available from Elective catalogue which you find from https://registrar.wiut.uz. So, for example, if you select Internet Law - semester 2 elective module, in semester 1 you should have option module from your own pathway. 

BA (Hons) Business Management Course Handbook and Elective Catalogue will be updated and available from the links above from June 15th, 2022. Look through the Handbook before you select option or elective modules. 

DO MODULE REGISTRATIONS ONLY WHEN YOU WILL CLEARLY KNOW WHICH MODULES YOU WANT TO STUDY.

If you have any concerns with regards to your assessment marks, please contact your respective Module Leaders for the assessment feedback.
For advice on academic appeal, please contact the Academic Support Services either via email academicsupport@wiut.uz or call (+998)712387432.
 
Information on the academic appeal can be found on the Academic Registrar’s Portal: https://registrar.wiut.uz/SitePages/Submit%20an%20Appeal.aspx
Completed academic appeal form along with the supporting documentation (e.g. exam scripts) must be submitted electronically via email to azkhakimova@wiut.uz (Aziza Khakimova – Head of Student Information and Compliance).
Academic appeals sent later than the published deadline or without supporting documentation will not be considered.
[Exam scripts can be requested from the Faculty Office of your respective Schools. Please ensure that your request is within the set deadline by the Faculty Office.]
The deadline for academic appeals is on 22rd June 2022, Wednesday at 17:00.
 
You can only appeal on grounds as outlined in the Handbook of Academic Regulations 2021/22 - Section 16, Paragraph 16.27. 
Academic appeals not addressing these grounds (e.g. academic judgement) will not be considered. (Paragraph 16.28 - Section 16: Academic Appeals, Handbook of Academic Regulations 2021/22)
 
The University adheres to the assessment marking process as follows: (Section 12: Marking, Moderation and External Scrutiny - Handbook of Academic Regulations 2021/22)
Step 1: Marking of the assessments by the Module Leader.
Step 2: Moderation on the marked assessments by the academic staff of the subject area.
Step 3: External scrutiny on the moderated assessments.
 
 
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please note that by submitting an academic appeal does not mean that you do not have to attend the Refer/Defer Assessment.
You will still have to attend the Refer/Defer Assessment until the outcome of your appeal is communicated to you.

Guuuys, probably most of were panicking right now about increasing the tuition fee to 33 million sums

Good news!

According to internal reliable sources, the new tuition fee will not affect any students who are studying at WIUT right now

The new tuition fee will be applied only for new CIFS students who will be coming to uni next year
