Comprising Chinese instruments but structured symphonically, the Chinese orchestra is rooted in tradition, yet its music is enriched by globalisation. Under the baton of Conductor Emeritus Maestro Tsung Yeh, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra presents “For Our Dreams: Wang Chenwei’s Composition Showcase”, featuring four colourful local premieres that transport us to Taiwan, Macao and ancient China, and inspire us to strive for our dreams!
