This weekend, our team did our coffee shop visit at Serangoon Avenue 4, followed by house visits at Tai Hwan Crescent. I had some interesting chats on the CDC voucher scheme and also issues being faced by local SMEs. Then I joined LO Pritam Singh and MPs Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap, Dennis Tan Lip Fong and Gerald Giam for a visit to Alkaff Kampung Melayu Mosque in Bedok Reservoir. The mosque was founded in 1932, a year before my father was born. It was a real pleasure and honour to spend time with our friends there. At the same time, our Team Serangoon volunteers were doing Iftar food distribution. You can see here photos of the food packs we gave out, thanks to the generosity of our donors and lovingly packed and distributed by our volunteers. We were blessed to have decent weather throughout the day and, more importantly, the tremendous commitment of our volunteers. #aljuniedgrc
