As was common these nights, our house visit at Marine Crescent was punctuated by heavy rain. Fortunately, team Marine Blue always comes equipped with a trusty WP umbrella or two. We also had another obstacle while doing house visits: the lift broke down!
Fortunately, neither rain nor lift breakdown can deter our small but growing (both in numbers and in spirit) band of volunteers. We continued with our house visits and were rewarded with quite a bit of useful feedback, both about various estate matters, such as frequent lift breakdowns as well as the traffic issues the residents had with the nearby no u-turn lane.
A difficult journey is always made more enjoyable and rewarding with friends.
