Had a pleasant morning meeting residents of Bedok North in East Coast GRC with Kenneth Foo.
Occasionally, residents would ask if elections are round the corner. This is a piece of information that we would never have until a formal announcement is made. The visits we do are a continuous process, whether elections are coming up or not, to share with residents more about what we do, hear residents’ views, and understand their concerns and needs. Inputs from residents are instrumental in ensuring that we remain relevant and could genuinely represent their interests should we be given the honour of doing so.
Would also like to take this opportunity to wish all fathers a happy and meaningful Fathers’ Day. I was reminded that it is Fathers’ Day today when my children presented me with these wonderful and touching notes. I’ve just claimed my prize!
