Netbay - Rising from the ashes
We initiate coverage on NETBAY with BUY and THB31.60 TP. NETBAY is a SaaS company that allows clients to do transfer data at very low prices (THB5-50 per one electronic transaction). Having been hurt by Covid-19 and tax hike during 2020-21, NETBAY’s performance should finally turn around in 2H22E as China is beginning to ease Covid-19 restrictions. We forecast FY22-25E core net profit CAGR of 13%, supported by Thailand’s import-export growth.

o The KLCI is set for a cautious start on Monday amid gloomy outlook for global recovery, weighed by tighter monetary and rising inflation. Plantation and O&G stocks will remain choppy due to the volatility in commodity prices while banking stocks may also face rising pressure. Technically, we expect the benchmark index to range between 1,445 and 1,485 today, with supports at 1,452 and 1,400.

o Vitrox (VITRO MK): Despite potential hiccups in ViTrox’s MVS segment from subdued Chinese demand, the ABI segment is expected to fare sequentially better in 2Q22 following the resolution of supply bottlenecks last month. Our BUY call, TP (pegged to 41x FY23 PER) and earnings forecast are maintained. ViTrox remains our top MY ATE pick owing to its dominant position in machine vision tech, diversified customer base and exposure to high-growth sectors such as EVs/5G/IR4.0; accumulate on weakness.

o LKL International (LKLI MK): Proposed to undertake a series of corporate exercises: 1) the consolidation of every ten shares into one consolidated share; 2) the diversification into pharmacy business; 3) a renounceable rights issue on the basis of three rights shares together with two free warrants for every one consolidated share held; and 4) a 30% share issuance scheme to eligible directors and eligible employees. LKLI intends to raise a minimum of MYR5m, and up to a maximum of MYR58.3m, from the proposed rights issue to expand its pharmacy business. Investors, however, should take note that this is not the only fund-raising exercises undertaken by the group in the past 12 months. Stock trades at a PB of 0.4x.

o TSR Capital (TSRC MK): Its wholly-owned subsidiary TSR Ocean Park S/B entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Gerbang Alaf Restaurants S/B to dispose part of land measuring approximately 36,617 sq ft together with a McDonald’s restaurant erected thereon in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The total disposal consideration of MYR6m will be satisfied entirely via cash and will be utilised for TSRC’s general working capital. Pursuant to the disposal, the group will book an estimated gain on disposal worth approximately MYR3m. Stock is trading at a PB of 0.2x.
