Do not let a few bullish candles deceive you into flipping immediately towards the bullish side and losing all composure of the overall market structure that has been present for several months now.
After a significant period of descending lower and lower... price will naturally seek to find a turning point before re-evaluating and likely continuing the trend lower.
I explained to my members that if we see prices retrace higher from where we did, the Fear & Greed Index will turn neutral, the euphoria will return, the $100K BTC predictions will flood your social media timelines and all of the downside will be forgotten.
For me, this looks to be a trap before more downside commences at least one more time. Look on the higher timeframes... Weekly and Monthly to be precise. I know everybody’s discussing the holy ‘double bottom’ but tbh it’s hardly perfect and there’s sufficient space down below for the market to wipe out the new wave of buyers and leveraged longs, who are desperately jumping back into the market in hopes the dreams of an alt szn and bull run remain alive.
We now have even more liquidations awaiting down below. BTC could hit $60K again and it still would not mean we are going to $100K. It’s important you’re always remaining level-headed, every candle is artificially created to lure you into making an irrational decision based on what you’ve seen from cartoon characters on Twitter and Youtubers with thumbnails looking like they’re being anally penetrated.
Ride the waves... Detach from your emotions and consider the opposing side at all times.
I took another $50K profit on Tuesday and considering another $25K or so soon when criteria is met. If it goes higher, I do not care, I’ll simply take out more. Almost $80K profit for the week would be ideal.
The goal now is to simply get out the profit from my active trading pot entirely, with sufficient movement higher my HODL portfolio (majority of funds/main holdings) will also be considered as a means to take profit.
At this point in time any swing higher concerns me because overall the current cycle’s looking bearish.
Stay safe, be careful and just consider a $20K BTC could be a stones-throw away...
