Plastic rain could prove to be a more insidious problem than acid rain. There is so much microplastic in the air that whenever it rains, you can almost be sure that it's raining plastic. This also makes it essential to purify all water from rainwater collection, whether you live in a city or the most remote areas of the planet. I wouldn't even trust tap water from any source, and use a Berkey filter to purify all of the water I drink. I also use Aquabliss water filters in my bathrooms for the showerheads to avoid hard minerals and chemicals including plastics from getting into my skin.
