I've kept a hopeful eye on Ram Bahadur Bomjon who used to be called the Buddha Boy in the mid 2000s. Back then, I was inspired that a 15-year old pursued enlightenment in the same way Siddartha Gautama did. Sadly, he soon veered hard to the left-hand path. It's just one more example that shows you that just because someone has become able to develop "supernatural" abilities and has meditated to the point of unlocking extraordinary states, it is possible to become a fallen angel. I still believe every soul can come back from the darkest depths, but they will have a lot of work to do to offset all of the negative karma they incurred by causing tremendous suffering to others.
