FIRST ON FOX: House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is launching an investigation alongside Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., into whether the IRS is using artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improperly surveil American taxpayers across the country.

In a pair of letters sent to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Attorney General Merrick Garland, the lawmakers point to a September 2023 press release in which the IRS said AI "will help IRS compliance teams better detect tax cheating, identify emerging compliance threats and improve case selection tools to avoid burdening taxpayers with needless ‘no-change’ audits."

"However, recent reporting alleges that the IRS’s use of AI has also included actively monitoring American citizens’ bank accounts en masse and without legal process," they wrote, citing a report by James O’Keefe's O’Keefe Media Group. Open / Comment

Now I'm just curious because it never entered my mind the time.

I wondered if someone would have said "Money? Oh, that money? I completely forgot to give it to you Here you go."

I wonder if the police would have been like..."Oh well, you got your money back so I guess there was no crime committed here. Have a nice day."

Gee...I never knew you could claim stupidity and it erased the crime.

A hash validation is a test that is supposed to determine if a machine's code has been altered or if it is the same as the certified version of the software.

This is an important step, but like many other processes, it has flaws. Just because the hash codes match doesn't mean the system is safe.

In Florida we have a rule that if there is only a certain number of votes, they can't publish the results. BECAUSE THE NUMBERS ARE SO LOW, SOMEONE COULD FIND OUT WHO VOTED.

So the officials are basically admitting that Early Voting breaks the rule for a "Secret Ballot"

I would argue further that the use of electronic poll books + electronic voting machines are both logged with timestamps again breaking the long standing rule that we should have secret ballots.

You know what would fix all this?
