Job Description: Accounting • Understand and apply relevant Financial Reporting Standards to the business • Perform accounting procedures as required • Provide support in the daily financial operations • Manage goods receipt and issuance in company systems • Perform daily payments and receipts clearing in the system • Assist in the raising of ancillary invoices • Update the sales and purchases register
Tax • Understand Corporate and indirect tax as well as applicable incentive tax schemes for the company • Support in the preparation of tax computations and schedules • Assist the Tax team in research and tax advisory work
Financial Planning and Analysis • Understand the budgeting, reporting and forecasting processes of the company • Support the FP&A team in updating the forecast working files and performing analysis on actuals vs forecast
Settlements • Understand the invoice capturing process as well as pricing mechanics of oil trading contracts • Support the settlements team in the processing of invoices and the calculation of oil trades
Job Requirements: • Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in accounting
