Job Description: · Manage all Cost Control Functions on the Project in accordance with Company Procedures & Guidelines. · Establishment of Project Cost Control Execution & Reporting Plan, including development of any Project specific procedures where necessary, during the Project start up phase. · Development of Forecasting methodology and establishment of monthly routines and interfaces with other project team members and external information providers. · Monitor & control actual cost expenditures including reconciliation to the Accounting system. · Commitment & Open P/O monitoring and inclusion in forecasts as appropriate · Involvement in Change Management Process and Variation Order Costing, Pricing and Submission. · Participate in Risk Management Process and manage the Project Contingency and Sensitivity Analysis Reporting. · Preparation of the Project Cost Report (EAC) as well as ensuring that all information provided on monthly basis for Regional/Corporate Management Reporting purposes · Preparation & Submission of Monthly Cashflow Forecasts for project · Preparation & Submission of the Monthly Project Status Report (PMSR) · Review Contract scope of Work and Terms & Conditions · Application and understanding the use of IFRS standards · Prepare budget from scratch and journal entries · Complete general ledger operations · Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements · Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts · Monthly financial reports · Assist with year end closings · Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable · Prepare tax computations and returns · Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences · Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process · Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
