Been thinking about the “zero sum myth“ a lot since I listened to this podcast by @ibramxk, recommended to me by a good friend.
Ugh. I can imagine something so beautiful for all of our kids. It is not the way of colonizers. It is not the way of white supremacy. If you’ve seen glimpses of it, you know. You know the possibilities. I just wish the powers that be would get the fuck out of the way and let us do what we do. Whether they believe it or not, their children would be better off, too. source
