OUR DAILY BREAD
Today's Verse: Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,that we may obtain mercy,and find grace to help in time of need.
COMMENTARY The word "boldly" is the focus word. The enemy most of the times inflicts this sense of guilt into our hearts and minds that prevents us from reaching to God's presence. During these times, we feel unworthy of God's goodness but we are urged to come boldly to the throne of grace, with confidence and without fear. The sacrifice of Jesus for us while we were yet sinners gives us this confidence and courage to approach God even in times when we think we are most unworthy of His love .God knew that we can never be perfect in our service to Him, that's why there was Jesus. Never allow guilt take over you that you become a prey for the devil
PRAYER Dear God, forgive me for times where I allowed guilt crop in that I forgot who I am in you. I pray that nothing will will hinder me from you now and ever in Jesus' name. Amen
