Africa’s Richest City Is Crumbling Under Chaos and Corruption

The city suffers from daily power outages (rolling black outs, failing equipment and stolen cables), broken railway networks, dilapidated roads, lack of water and proper sanitation, rampant crime, corrupt officials, and more.
