When American soldiers went house to house in Afghanistan for interrogations, the women not only did not show themself but also did not speak until there was a female interrogator. That's called hijab of the voice, a women not letting strange men even hear her voice. That level of strict fundamentalism was followed by brave afghan women themself, there was no taliban forcing, it was U.S rule. The western media will never tell this part of Afghan culture (which is based on the true Islam).
The propaganda is that Taliban or Islamic regimes make women wear Burka, but the reality is for the past 20 years afghan women in rural areas (which makes the majority of the country) wore exactly the same clothing under U.S "democratic" rule. Modesty triggeres immorals, that's why this point is completely ignored by the left/liberals. They don't want to show women independently wearing full clothes. Women shapes a society, modest women, modest society. Immoral women immoral society. And women can be lead easily.
