Japan is imposing new sanctions on Russia over its military op | Sputnik

Japan is imposing new sanctions on Russia over its military operation in Ukraine, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida says. The sanctions include:

freezing capitals of Russian citizens and entities;
ban on issuing visas to Russian citizens;
freezing assets of Russian financial organizations;
ban on goods that may be used for military purposes;

Kishida also says it is too hard to predict the impact of the Russian military operation in Ukraine on the course of the Japanese-Russian peace treaty talks.
