A residential building in Kiev was accidentally hit by a Ukrainian Buk missile system, not a Russian missile, according to a source in the Russian Defense Ministry.
The type of damage, which can be seen in the video shared on social media, is consistent with Buk-type missiles, the source said.
A Buk guidance unit may have malfunctioned while it was repelling fire on Ukrainian military infrastructure.
