y-axis represents the price, x-axis the time. These are all the trades in that one second. As we mentioned earlier, Freak Trades doesn’t last long, not even for 5 seconds. Order flow gets normalised after such spikes. Only way to handle such situation is to place SL-L and wait for 30 seconds, if not filled convert to market order. By waiting for 30 seconds, the order flow becomes normal and the algo would be able to exit without any issues. Open / Comment

There was this freak trade happened with 37100 PE Bank Nifty, which resulted in higher slippages. As mentioned earlier, to handle such freak trades, we are implementing Limit Modifier functionality with our trading bots, which will reduce these kind of impacts significantly.
