A mining center with a capacity of 300 MW will be built in Texas
American mining company Genesis Digital Assets announced the start of construction of a new 300 MW bitcoin mining center in West Texas (USA).
40% of the planned volume will be covered by the grid company Electric Reliability Council of Texas at the expense of electricity generated by wind and sun.
“We are committed to ESG's commitment to continue our expansion,” said co-founder and CEO Abdumalik Mirakhmedov.
Currently hashrate of Genesis Digital Assets is 3.8 EH / s. The company expects to increase this figure to 9.4 EH / s over the next 12 months and bring the installed capacity to 1.5 GW by the end of 2023.
