Its better late than never right?

Since its holiday season we are familiar with the phrase "እንኳን አደረሰህ/አደረሰሽ" but i think we have made it a trend during holidays without actually giving it a thought.

We are saying it without understanding it or without really meaning it.
ማነው እዚህ ያደረሰህ ?
ምንን አልፈህ ነው እዚህ የደረስከው?
Life is not easy often going the opposite of what we intended it to be; through out the year or even months alot has happened from losing friends and giving up to what seemed like a glimpse of hope.
Take a look back at the path that lead you here
Take a moment and think about the one who held your hand eventho you refused
Who guided your steps when you didnt even wanna move your feet?
From insulting friends or families to a guilty feeling

When homes and families have fallen apart; when all the news we hear are aching to the ear; through it all You are still here.

The path wasn't smooth but You are here despite all the imperfections you held and all the ups and downs you passed.

And it would be being ungrateful to not give thanks to the one made you get here. So Give thanks to God even if things didn't go as you planned them to
Eventho what He promised You is not yet fulfilled
Give thanks to Him
For He is a God of His Word and He never fails
For impossible can not stop Him.

So cultivate the thought whenever you are wishing someone a Holiday like you mean it " I dont know what you have been through and the path you have crossed but i am glad that You are here and i get to see another year with You. እንኳን አደረሰህ"

መድረስ ቀሎ አይደለም የደረስነው፣ የሚያደረስ፣ የሚያሻግር አምላክ ስላለን ነው።

እንኳን እግዚአብሔር ፈቅዶ ለዚህች ቀን አደረሰን።
