Let the Cross that I wear and claim to believe You were Crucified for my sins and transgessions be a reminder to me not only when i rejoice but also when i am doing wrong.
And when I am doing something wrong which dishonors You, may I take a look down at what I have in my neck and be reminded that Its not Just there for a symbol but also as an act of surrendering and pleading You to be close to my heart just as the cross I wear is near to my heart.

Let me understand what the true meaning of being "Temple of the HolySpirit" is.

Just as Solomon did not pray for a long life, to be prosperous or for his enemies to diminish but for a wisdom to govern in the right way; I ask You God to give us wisdom on how to live for You and reflect You in this broken world.

I assume most of us have a necklace with a Cross around our neck, so for the next time when you are tempted to sin, take a look at the Cross that is hanging on Your neck.


As Watchman nee puts it,

We need the Blood for forgiveness; we need also the Cross for deliverance.
