Sildenafil has a salt attached, hence its name "Sildenafil citrate" , this salt has a certain molecular weight.
When you buy the pharmaceutical version you can read the following: "Each tablet contains sildenafil citrate equivalent to 100 mg of sildenafil.", that means it has REAL 100mg of sildenafil .
On the other hand, non-pharmaceutical laboratories use 100mg of sildenafil citrate, which is not equivalent to the actual 100mg of sildenafil.
Final verdict
Although the non-pharmaceutical version does indeed have a lower actual amount of the active ingredient, the doses used by the average PED user are so high that the difference would be impossible to tell .
