Pro methods: advanced training methodology
These weeks I am going to start publishing private training workouts of some of my clients, or from other coaches modified by me, there are some concepts that I consider necessary and very useful.
MV = Maintenance Volume
It is the minimum amount of volume we need to do to maintain ourselves . Normally the average is 6 sets per week per muscle group .
MEV = Minimum Effective Volume
It is the minimum amount of volume that we need to train to progress and improve . I recommend doing it to start mesocycles.
MAV = Maximum Adaptive Volume
It is the amount of volume that will give us the best profit rate . It changes every week and needs to be modulated .
MRV = Maximum Recoverable Volume
It is the maximum amount of training volume that we can train and from which we can recover .
