Fake news:
Russian troops are firing from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, according to pro-Ukrainian blogs, citing footage of Russian Grad MLRS firing.

The fact:
The footage that allegedly shows Russian artillery firing from the territory of Zaporizhzhia NPP actually shows the work of MLRSs, which are located on the shore of the Vodyansky Kovsh bay, 5 km west of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Thus, the information disseminated in the blogs about firing from the territory of the plant is a fake.

According to the Rybar Telegram channel, it is possible to determine the location of Russian MLRS from surveillance camera footage on one of the buildings in the village of Dobrya Nadya. On the basis of the landmarks present, including elements of the ZNPP itself, it is possible to specify the location of the artillery firing at the Ukrainian armed forces on the opposite bank of the reservoir.

Ukrainian propaganda has also tried to accuse the Russian army of placing military equipment at the ZNPP. In fact, we are talking about trucks of the radiation, chemical, and biological protection troops, which ensure the safety of the nuclear power plant, as we reported earlier.
