The transition to university requires students to be effective in managing time, making effective notes and reading. It is important to read independently and effectively to learn significant portions of a course of study. Unfortunately, many students read passively, failing to build comprehension or goal for reading. This workshop will introduce students to active reading strategies to make reading more productive and meaningful.
