The city is best known for its famous harbour area, the Port of Hamburg. In addition to being a central transportation hub, Hamburg has become one of Europe's most important cultural and commercial centres and a significant tourist destination. Coming to my living experience in Hamburg, I can say that the city is very cosy and friendly for international people. These are only a few reasons I choose Hamburg as a destination for my PhD studies.
