I did not use to have laptops or mobile phones when I was learning English, which means books were the only source I could lean on. It was fun, at the same time time-consuming since looking through the pages to look up a word took a good part of time.

The story has nothing to do with my journey towards learning, but the thing is there are a lot of young people who just take their time granted, not to mention the golden opportunities their fancy mobile phones or laptops offer.

I know a guy who spends his day just looking at his phone, watching some funny videos on Telegram, which make no sense. No progress in his life at all ! Can you imagine this ? What humiliates me is his ignorance towards what explained him how to organise daily tasks, and so on.

The moral: Dear people, whoever reading this post, please don't take the opportunities you have granted. You are going to be asked for what you did with them, how effectively you used your time and what you used your time for. Open / Comment

Imagine you have 1000 dollars. You spend $500 on rent, $300 on food and $200 on some other expenses. You ran out of money. Now you can't buy anything else. You can't buy clothes, you can't buy books and etc.

The same is true with your willpower. You have limited amount of it at the start of your day. Imagine you have 1000 units of willpower. You spend 200 on Telegram, 400 on YouTube and 400 on gaming. You ran out of willpower units. You can't do anything else. You can't work, you can't study, you can't work on yourself and etc.

Conclusion?

Do the important things first and thank me later.
