The
Enghøj brooch is an interesting Viking age artifact. Buried with a rich woman of Norwegian descent, she was interned in the Jutland peninsula region of Denmark.
Of note, the artifact is adorned with ornate swastikas. Likewise, it is at least a century older than the woman it was buried with, and the object is of Irish/Scottish (Celtic) origin.
Overall it suggests there was quite a lot of movement of people and goods between these regions.
