This is a lot of bad takes in one place. I just appreciate how the author divided this into different paragraphs, (almost) every single of which manages to be completely wrong.
So:
1) Like...duh? so what? Slavery in the US was strongly linked to white supremacy
2) Pretty sure one could find some exceptions, but in any case no western country systematically used slavery for its economy in the 19th century, in the same way as the US did. Also slavery afaik was (nominally) abolished in Europe already in the middle ages. In Europe. In the middle ages.
3) This is such an amazing take. You have to stand in awe at the ability of right-wingers to always come up with the most ridiculous arguments in bad faith. Even assuming that's true (and it certainly isn't in 19th Century Africa), imagine using whataboutism when talking about one of the worst crimes that have plagued humanity
4) "EVER HEARD OF THE PERSIANS?" HWEDIUDGWOUGWIUUWIWESSAISGHAU
5) See point 1 and 3
6) "Humans have supposedly existed on this planet for 4.2 billion years" That's impossible, because at the time the hellish climate of the planet would only be ideal for a small number of 'human beings', like Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Rush Limbaugh
7) Slavery has existed for 4.2 billion years. Slavery is almost as old as the fucking moon, y'all.
8) The only one right, but it's not like he'd do anything about it, probably
9) Oh yeah, how silly of them, black people just use the 'slavery card' because they want to receive free money. Universal Basic Income but just because slavery was a thing. Yeah. Exactly that. You gotem, champ!
