Creators of channels and groups can now prevent their subscribers from saving photos and videos, forwarding messages and taking screenshots.

Telegram users have complete control over their chat history and can delete messages without a trace for all participants in the conversation. Today's update allows you to delete the history of messages in a particular private chat for a specific day or period of time.

You can use Telegram from all your devices at the same time and manage active sessions through the Devices menu in the settings. A new button in this section will help you instantly access Telegram on a computer or through a browser. In addition, you can now choose after what period of inactivity to automatically end sessions on your old devices.

Public groups and comments in channels allow you to discuss any topic with thousands of people: hold a meeting with colleagues, debate with opponents, or just chat with fans. To avoid unwanted attention to your personal account, you can now send messages on behalf of one of your channels.

On some devices, you can now quickly log in without SMS - by entering the last digits of the number from which the call from Telegram came.

If, after sending an application to join a group, its administrator contacted you, the name of the group will be indicated on the plate at the top of the chat.
