When it rains it pours
This means that bad thing don't usually happen one at a time, when something bad happens, something else bad happens as well/ that difficult or unfortunate circumstances tend to come at the same time, noy one by one.
Examples:
Maybe you're asked to work on a holiday but you already had plans and they can't find the replacement, and then you catch a cold and you're bicycle get stolen, all these things happened at the same time you might say' Aah When it rains it pours
We can also use it when we are busy, so maybe you're having company come over and you studying for a test and something breaks in your home and you have to fix it..When it rains it pours.
