ICAI being a regulatory body, formed Taxation Audits Quality Review Board (TAQRB) to review the audit reports submitted by members to the Tax Authorities.

During the course of such review, the Board noticed certain reporting requirements which need specific attention of members. In order to bring awareness about the same, TAQRB of ICAI has taken the initiative to come out with this *publication namely, ‘Study on Compliances in Reporting in Tax Audit Report’.*

Big change announced by CBDT on Verification of Income Tax Returns (Notification No 5/2022 )

CBDT Reduces time limit for e- verification of ITR from 120 days to 30 days of filing the return.

However, for ITR Filed upto 31/07/22 time limit of 120 days would continue to apply.

ITR Filed from 01/08/22 new time limit of 30 days would be applicable.
